While the price may dissuade some gamers, The Last of Us Part 1 is worth checking out. If you've played the original game a few times, it still packs a punch. Gamers who haven't yet experienced one of the greatest games of all time should pick up an ultimate version of this masterpiece.

The Last of Us Part I is a technological marvel that makes Naughty Dog's classic survival story better than ever. It looks great, as does the sound, and every other change makes it worth repeating.

Redo or remaster? Since its announcement last June, the name of The Last of Part 1 redesign has been debated among gamers and even internally between Sony Interactive Entertainment and Naughty Dog. At Jeuxact we defend the fact that it is indeed a remake, certainly not as complete as some titles that were remade 20-30 years later can be, but there are enough visual changes to use the correct term. It's a shame that Sony Interactive Entertainment (finally especially Jim Ryan) is making gamers pay a heavy price. Because hey, €80, that's just wasted.

  4. The Last of Us Part 1 is a game that feels like it shouldn't exist, but I'm glad it does. While the dated 2013 design is still present, the visual updates, combat tweaks, and accessibility improvements make it feel like a brand new title. In time, this will become the de facto final edition of the game to be enjoyed by generations to come.

The Last of Us Part I represents a logical improvement in the quality of the original game, bringing it up to the same caliber as its sequel without too many radical changes and the complete removal of multiplayer. But if you haven't experienced the world of The Last of Us yet, this release is the time to do so.

The Last Of Us Part I looks impressive. It's amazing to see how beautiful the game looks on the PS5, how well it takes advantage of the console's new features and, of course, the revolutionary accessibility options. But don't get your hopes up for improved gameplay or level design. It feels like the same game you played almost ten years ago.

With a hefty price tag and less content than its more-than-acceptable PS4 equivalent, The Last of Us Part 1 is a completely unnecessary remake with beautiful graphics that only accentuate its outdated gameplay.

I played the original game when it first came out. I remember enjoying it a lot, but I remember some details. I played the 2nd part in doublesI played the original game when it first came out. I remember enjoying it a lot, but I remember some details. I played part 2 a few years ago and while the gameplay was exceptional, they completely ruined the story. This isn't a review of the game's price because that's stupid - if it's more than you're willing to pay, don't buy it.

The game has aged decently, but I wouldn't say it has aged well. It's true that even in this remastered version, you still feel like you're playing a PS3 game. Some mechanics, animations, fluidity and AI feel a bit clunky. It's not unplayable or overly engaging, but it's definitely noticeable when you can't make it out of a room while your NPC companion is standing in the doorway. This would have been a much better release if they had added the fluid gameplay and AI from the other game. Regardless, it doesn't take anything away from the game. So basically the only difference here is the graphics, which really look great. Visually, the game doesn't stand out at the top of the next-gen gaming pack, but it's definitely on par with where it should be. The game is based on voice acting, characters and story all extremely well and still surpassing most games since its release. All things considered, it's as good as I remember it. I never thought it was the best game ever, but I remember thinking it was a fantastic experience and my feeling remains the same.

People who review bombing because they don't want to pay full price are stupid. This is a fantastic release - that's for sure. Was this a necessary launch - probably not, but let the market speak for itself with sales.

For $70 I expected the gameplay mechanics of Last of Us Part 2 to be reworked for Last of Us Part 1. Like the ability to lay downFor $70 I expected game mechanics from Last of Us Part 2 reworked for Last of Us Part 1. Like the ability to lay down and 3 different stages of enemy AI. This is just an expensive remaster. The graphics aren't much better than the original. . wait for the sale Expand

It's not a remake, the sounds are still the same, with volume issues
Same bugs as the ps3 version, Sony continues to deceive its consumers and is already doing it
